Blistex Intensive Moisturiser Review

Hi Ladies xxx

Most of you will know I am somewhat addicted to lip balms/products so when I saw this on offer in Super Drug I had to pick it up. It claims a long lasting daily hydration fix for lips. With She Butter, Camphor and Allantoin to condition, perfect and protect deep down.

Blistex Intensive Moisturiser £2.34 on offer at the moment in Superdrug for 2 for £2.99

Has a handy applicator

In my hand so you can see the size

Swatched white cream

Now this is white in colour so you need to rub it in but once applied it does go clear.  It does leave your lip feeling tingly but its a pleasant feeling not like some lip plumping products.  Has a minty taste and smell to it overall I think this is a must have product I brought 2 and have one in my handbag and one in my bed side table I think this would would great with a lip scrub and after using for a little while my lips and in really good condition I will be popping back and stock up on a few more.

China Glaze Twinkle Lights

Hi ladies xx

Today's post is about my favourite party nail colour I wore this all over Christmas and new year and I absolutely love it. I got so many comments on this polish and how pretty it is. It's one of those colours that once on your nails you can't stop looking at it.

CHINA GLAZE TWINKLE LIGHTS

PICTURES DON'T REALLY DO IT JUSTICE
I applied it over two coats of gold polish so I had a solid base for it to sit on and applied a glossy top coat.

China Glaze has become one of my favourite brands I don't think you can beat the colours and the quality of these polishes.

Faiths Hair For School

Hi Ladies x

I hope your all well I get asked all the time how I do Faiths hair and believe it or not this style is so quick and easy to do.

All you need is a clear elastic hair tie some bobby pins, hair clamp and hair spray.  This takes about 5 - 10 minutes to do!!

 The finished Look
 From the Side

Ok so to start take the hair from right behind the ear on both sides of the head plait it to the end and clamp it.

The rest of the hair smooth it towards the back of the head and form into a messy bun.  Use the clear elastic tie to secure it in place, I then pull the bun to mess it up a bit more and pin into place with the bobby pins.

Once happy with the shape I take the plait from one side of the head and wrap it over the messy bun and pin into place and then do the same with the other side.

Finish with some hair spray.

Hope you like the style would you like to see a video on how to do this leave me a message below.

My week and weight loss

Well what a weeks it's been with one thing and another apologise for the lack of blog posts but my mum was rushed into hospital Wednesday and has had to have a major operation but hopefully she is now on the road to recovery. It's at times like this you find out who your friends are and I'm blessed to have such a wonderful family and friends who have supported us though this week.

As I said in my last post last week was meant to be the start of my diet and with everything going on I didn't expect to have that good a week. However I've lost 4 1/2 lb which I'm thrilled about.

So this week hospital visiting allowing will hopefully be as good I don't expect to lose that much again but I'd be thrilled with a lb or so.

Hope you've all had a good week.

I have also started earring breakfast a bowl of cereal everyday which again is something I haven't done in years so small things but lets hope they make a difference. I am hoping come Monday I'll be able to report a weight lose no matter how small.

Cut The Cost Of Shaving Meet the RazorPit (a must for the man in your life or lady)

Hi ladies xxx

I just wanted to share this with you Jon and his family have always buy each other New Years present so this is something we do to now.  So this is what I brought Jon as he is forever moaning about the cost of shaving and blades.  I think we first saw this on the Gadget Show the item I am talking about it the RazorPit.

The RazorPit how it arrives

Out the box

The idea behind it is that once you have used your razor you use the RazorPit to remove everything which blunts the blade.

What RazorPit Says
Tired of expensive razor blades and uncomfortable shaves? With the Patented RazorPit and its friction technology you can remove the residues of hair, skin and soap that makes your blades feel dull. RazorPit makes your razor blade last for up to 150 shaves! Its just like shaving with a brand new blade every day.  At the same time your will save up to 90% on buying new razor blades. RazorPit works with all blades.

So how it works

You apply some saving gel, foam, oil to the base of the RazorPit

You then place your razor with the blade touching the foam and swipe it 4 or 5 times the opposite way to which you would if you were shaving.

Once you have done this you can rinse the razor and the RazorPit and then can sit your razor in the Razor pit for storage.
Done!!

Heres a little video we made last night to show you how to use the RazorPit

So I'm going to enlist the help of Jon (who is now a blogger to) to write a review on this product and tell you his thoughts on it.

I hope this helps on first impression I think this is worth its weight in gold.  I purchased from Amazon Link to Shop I brought Jon's from As I say I think this would make a perfect gift.

Katy Perry Purr Perfume Review

Hi Ladies xxx

I was lucky enough to find this under the tree at Christmas this year.  I popped into Super Drug to have a smell of this first to see if I liked it and I couldn't stop smelling my wrist.  It is beautiful and I needed a new perfume as my collection has been run right down,  I think having a 7 year old who will only wears my good perfume and not the cheap Avon ones I keep trying to Palm her off with doesn't help.

So I have 1 main scent I wear all the time and it's Paco Rabanne Ultraviolet which is the scent everyone thinks of me when they smell cause I love it and wear all the time and have worn it for years.

Katy Perry Purr

The Bottle is Amazing

So this perfume is very fruity I am useless in describing the smells of things so this is what is blended together peach, apple, gardenia, green bamboo, jasmine, pink freesia, Bulgarian rose, vanilla, sandalwood, white amber, coconut and musk.  This lingers around for ages and the longer is settles the nicer the fragrance becomes.

The bottle itself is amazing it is cat shape purple glass and has jewels for its eyes and little silver heart collar.  It looks amazing sat on the dressing table.

I'm not a huge fan of celebrity endorsed fragrances but this one is beautiful and worth a smell next time your passing a stockiest.

My Birthday Present From Rachel (Pretty Obsessed) (INGLOT)

Hi Ladies xxxx

I have had this post in my draft box for forever and with all the events which happened over my birthday I sort of forgot about it.  So apologises to Rachel for not doing this post before your a star xxxxx

So just before my birthday this beautiful little package arrive with a airmail sticker on which means one thing a gift from Rachel eeeekkkk!!!!

My beautiful Present

So I resisted opening it till my birthday which was so hard but I did it.

IGLOT!!!!!!!!!

I don't own any thing by Iglot and to be honest I was completely blown away when I undid the paper and saw this box.

Out the Box

First impressions was how sturdy and well made this palette is the top it glass and the 2 silver studs you can see on the top are magnets which hold the palette shut.  When i undo mine i always just slid the one side over as these magnets are seriously strong.  Hiding behind the frosty glass I could see the two colours and I knew they would be perfect as Rachel knows me so well.

Inside

STUNNING!!!!

Swached

These colour are stunning and the quality of the shadows are beautiful very soft and really easy to work with.  Now I believe these are called freedom palettes as you pick the size of palette you want and then fill with the eye shadows of your choice.

I think its a good job I don't have a Iglot closer or I can feel a expensive addiction coming on.

Im sorry I have no idea what the shade names or numbers are as I'm to scared to remove them from the palatte.

So thanks again Rachel for being so kind and thoughful and sending me this I LOVE IT xxxxxx

So off he went, we have just had a new Tesco built which has one of the New Beauty Halls.  Secretly I was a little gutted I wasn't going with him as I haven't been there yet but he keeps promising to take me.  Anyway I did ask him if he would take pictures of the beauty hall while he was in there but he said no. MAC Ebay Finds (Trax, Satin Taupe, Sable)

Hi Ladies xxx

I sort of fall in and out of love with MAC eye shadow's I love the colours the way they apply I hate the cost and I begrudge paying £10+ for one shadow but while on EBay the other day I spotted these and I could resist as I really wanted 2 of the colours and I needed two more pots to do my back to mac.

These were on a auction for 99p when I spotted them and I ended up paying £6 including postage BARGAIN.

My EBay MAC Eye shadows

Trax, Sable and Satin Taupe

Swatched

So I love these colours and I'm really glad that I picked them up and saved myself £24 in the process.

I have brought My MAC palette and will be depotting these and popping them in my palette.

China Glaze Blue Years Eve

Hi Ladies xxx

So a few weeks ago I did a high end nail polish haul this colour was one of the main reasons for that haul. I had seen this on a few blogs and I knew I needed it in my collection. When it arrived I was so pleased the colour is stunning and as I had broke one of my nails I decided to cut them all short which I thinks really sets the colour off.

China Glaze Blue Years Eve

Blue Years Eve

On my newly cut nails I love it !
So yet again another great buy I wish I had a pound for every person who commented on my nails I'd be rich or able to buy more polish. I did add China Glaze Snowglobe to my ring finger to change it up a bit but to be honest this colour needs no improving it's simply stunning on it's own.

Any China Glaze recommendation as I'm itching to put in another order.

The Thin Person Inside Dying to Get Out

Hi Ladies xxx

So every year we all promise ourselves we are going to change, we made New Year resolution's but how many of us can say we keep to them???

I know for one I do this every year and by the first 2 weeks of January all my good intentions have flown out the window and I settle back into my old habits.  So why is this year going to be different???

Because I want to feel comfortable in my own skin (for once)

I'd like to be able to smile for the camera instead of trying to hide from it or stand behind something or someone so your cant see my body.

I'd like to see people whisper and not think they are whispering about me.

I'd like to be able to go cloths shopping with my sister or daughter and not feel embarrassed that what fits me they could fit 3 of them in.

Id like to be able to go on holiday and not feel like everyone is looking at me cause I carry extra weight.

So here is where my fight begins next week Weight Watchers her I come, I know its not going to be easy I have done it before (after having Faith) and lost 28 pound but this time I have the support of my family Jon and his mum are doing it to and as we are all going away in November we all have the same goal.

So from next week I will be posting to tell you how I get on and I know their are a few of my blogging friends trying to lose weight to and I'm sure we can do it.

Jon has started his own blog which I'm really proud of him for doing Jon's Blog he's new to blogging and I think he is enjoying it as much as I do.

Any tips hints you can give me drop me a comment please xxx
